Here there be plot bunnies!

Well, there are loads of them running rampant in my head. They’re furry, rabid, happy little bastards that love to take the smallest glimmer of an idea and run away with it. Pretty soon, madness ensues and I’ve got brand-spanking new ideas forming for a new book. My characters turn into full-blown muses and take over from the plot bunnies or work in league with them. Together, the plot bunnies and the muses conspire to drive me insane until I write about whatever they want me to. Don’t worry, dear reader…you are completely safe. The bunnies are completely harmless to everyone except me (and my fellow authors).

You’ve heard writers are crazy, right? Our own special version of insane. So far, there is no known cure for writer’s insanity. I don’t want one, either…thank you very much!

Anyhoo, I’m Bethany J. Barnes. Romance writing, photograph taking, horseback riding, book reading, movie watching, music listening lunatic. What kind of books do I write or plan on writing? Romance based ones. I’m a sucker for a love story. Always have been, always will be. My main interest lies in writing science fiction, paranormal and fantasy-based romances, but hey, I won’t limit myself if I get the idea to write something different. I might even take a swing at writing historical romance at some point. What will they all have in common? Strong characters and (hopefully) plenty of steamy interactions between the hero and the heroine.
